Theme Development within ARI4Sweden
Theme development within ARI4Sweden is a central method for gathering industrial needs and academic and industrial expertise around shared challenges where advanced research infrastructures can contribute with solutions. Themes are identified based on concrete industrial needs and are categorised according to the users' level of maturity: emerging, explorative, and advanced.
The process often begins with an industrial challenge and a mapping of stakeholders, competencies, and possible methodological approaches within and outside the sector. Thereafter, working groups with relevant partners can be established to conduct feasibility studies, method development, pilot projects and – in the long term – standardisation.
The themes are planned to be developed through meetings, needs dialogues, workshops, and joint development of pilots, methods, and standardisation with the aim of bridging sectors, increasing method accessibility, creating a common foundation and meeting place for industry-driven research and education, and strengthening the development of entry and exit environments.
INDUSTRY NEEDS and maturity level
Themes are designed around maturity level in relation to the use of large scale research infrastructures, and based on industrial needs.
Depending on previous experience and interest, needs can range from:
Understanding possibilities
What can one do at large scale facilities connected to my challenge? Access cases, workshops and introductory education.Finding collaboration partners
What partners could my industry work with?Access to experts
What experts can my industry get access to? ARI4Sweden offers a large network of experts and researchers who are here to help.Access to methods that are already in use in other sectors
How can my industry integrate these methods in our experiments? I need input on what is out there.Time with experts to perform pre and post experimental work
How can I get time with experts to improve my data samples, analysis and experiment environment?
